an unwanted ex racer. Preferably after something under five - but will look at older. Mare or gelding, will be spelled then brought into work and given basic education by a young but experienced rider. Have worked with racehorses (racers, breakers, pretrainers, yearlings, track etc) before so not new to handling these horses. Wanted to educate, bring on and sell - not going to deny that the horse will be sold on down the track.

Will consider injured horses - minor bowed tendons or injuries similar that have a pretty good chance of coming good with rest and correct treatment.

yeah...the lady that owns the horses i ride and funds all my riding is a "ew a standardbred" person..

if it was up to me i would take a standardbred!
