The Port Augusta Pony Club has 21 sheltered stables available for travelers. Since being built the stables have received a steady stream of travelers from all over the country.
There is also an enclosed bullring and a dressage arena that can also be used for stabling. Fantastic on a long trip to allow horses to move about and roll. Everything is within a secure perimeter fence.
While no riding is allowed on the grounds, if you wish to give your horse a stretch under saddle there is a sandy track around the cross country course that can be used.
Stable hire is only $5 per horse per night.
