my station wagon is for sale - i have decided to get a newer wagon (love my wagon - but the new holden wagons are awful - with no storage space at all) so i am looked around for the last of the squarer type wagon (2004 ish) In the meantime my old workhorse is for sale.
It is coming up to 270,000 kms
it is auto - runs on petrol only
has a heavy duty towbar
has a recon motor - has a new suspension sytem
- new radiator
new battery
new pulleys and fanbelts - and has been regularly serviced in the 10 years I have owned it. the aircon works and it has a good soundsystem.
the only thing that doesn't work is the auto rear view mirror adjusters - I adjust them by hand.
It is certainly not pristine - i have used it for haycarting etc (the seats fold forward and you can get six bales in the back) it has gotton super filthy in its time. Has one small ding in the back tailgate where someone reversed into me and drove off (thanks dickhead)
It has amazing boot space - we have been camping in it - and itsgreat how much you can get in it - tows one horse around easily and legally - and would make a good first car for some horsey chick or surfie dude out there who needs space for all her/his crap.

$2500 neg...

OGM we sold mum's old station wagon (and had the most interest) from putting flyers up on community notice boards Seems to be the demographic wanting these old cars!

for that price put it on facebook. Someone will snap it up pretty quick

don't do FB - if you worked where I did and saw all the misery and crime that arises out of it - you just couldn't.

I think it will go pretty quick - only advertising it amoungst my horsey contacts first - as it would make a great horse car for someone who doesn't need a 4wd just yet.

bumping as i am now prepared to take any reasonable offer. I have cleaned it all up and it seems pointless it being there with rego ticking away till october.

This is the type of car I really want to buy when we sell my excel. I need something bigger for a run around family car and as we cant afford a 4WD it has the bonus of being able to tow my horse to jump club. Plus we want to go camping to my brother in laws shack from time to time so it covers all bases. Pity you are a couple of months too early for me to get it! Bugger!
