I'm looking for some round bales of oaten or oaten mixture hay in the North/North Eastern suburbs. Does anyone know of any farmers that have it within about 45 mins of Upper Hermitage?
There's not a lot on Aushorse at the moment -- the closest that is suitable is out at Virginia...

Don't know about rounds but I get export hay delivered for $6.50 a bail.
my horses LOVE it - it's compressed hay, so takes so used to feeding it - it's easy to over feed.

I'm about to go up to springton to get Hay off my friend (oaten, really fine with HEAPS of heads) but don't know how much yet.

I did once get a round from a guy on One Tree Hill road, but haven't used him in yearrrrs.

Yeah, I got hay for $6 a bale last year, but I'd really like rounds because we don't have much pasture at the moment.
I'd like any contact details.
I have meadow at the moment bubby1, but this last bale had half a tree in it...
