PostSubject: Kalgary What The Roc   Mon Jan 09, 2012 2:38 pm

After much consideration, I have make the extremely hard decision, that due to needing knee surgery and not being able to ride for 4-6 months, to put Gracie up for sale....

Kalgary What The Roc
aka Gracie

Sire: Roc On (Perlino QH)
Dam: Kalgary Jess (STB)

DOB: 23/01/2010

Almost 2yo buckskin filly with 2 hind socks and birth mark on nearside barrel.
Currently approx 15-15.1hh. To mature 16hh+.(?)

Gracie is a lovely filly, she loves attention and will follow you around all day if she could.
Very clever girl, picks things up quickly and nothing much fazes her.
Has had saddle, saddle blanket, boot's on with no trouble.
Been taught to lunge, however turned out for the last 3 months to mature.
Has a cheeky temprament, but can be quite 'boystrous' at times, so needs a firm handler to remind her who's boss.
Gets bored easily, so needs things to keep her thinking, and will be ready to start work/be broken-in at end of month.

She catches you, throw a rug on.
Due to not floating much, may take a few goes to get on, but good once on and travelling.
Good with farrier, may try and pull hoof away occasionally though.
Great with other horses and animals, and kids.
Has been led off the motorbike with no problem.
Foal recorded with SA Buckskin Association.
Microchipped.

She is only for sale to the very best of experienced homes. Someone who has the time and knowledge she needs.
In no rush to sell her, just waiting for the right home.

$3000 (slightly negotiable to perfect home)

Forgot to add, the only problem we have had is she does not like her mouth being played with, so we had a few drama's when the dentist tried to do her teeth.
In future, she may need sedation ?? to have her teeth done.

Gracie will be going to the breakers in about 3 weeks time.
She still has a lot of maturing to do, so will only be lightly started.

She is still for sale, but price will increase accordingly.

MAY consider lease to perfect, EXPERIENCED home after breaking. Smile
