| My sister is having to have her dog operated on (cruciate ligament) and has to keep her confined and seperate from her other dog. So she wants to get a get a play pen to keep her in - if you have one that you are willing to sell cheap it would be apprieciated as she is on a pension and with the cost of the operation she doesn't have heaps of money to spare.
She lives at Daveron Park so somewhere north of town would be great Thanks |

| Oh - ok, I was going to say that I had a spare dog crate she could borrow - but it will be too small.
One of the ways I use to confine my Great Dane puppies is the compost bin panels from Bunnings. They are about $30 for 4 panels I think, and you can connect them together to make a 'play' area. That may be useful?? |

| Thanks guys, I will pass on to her - I know she was hoping to get one cheap as it is costing $1200 for the operation and that just about wipes out her savings |

| Hi
No playpen will keep even a half-determined mastiff in. Good luck. |

| The play pen is more to keep the younger dog from jumping on her, the one having the operation will usually lie fairly quiet when inside, but the younger dog is still full of beans and like to 'attack' her when she is sleeping and chew on her legs |

| We use one of those baby gate things to keep ours confined to a room. You can get a cheapie from Kmart for about $30 or again might be able to find one secondhand. |
