Our house is on the downside of the road in our street which is on a slope. There is a slate retaining wall that holds back the hill from the edge of our carport and the road (approx 8 metres between road and carport).
So what we want to do is put a shed where the carport is BUT we want 1 or 2 of the walls of the shed to form the retaining walls to utilise as much space as possible. We know this could be an expensive option but cannot see an alternative to making best use of the space.
Our problem is we don't really know who to go to for advice or quotes for this type of job. People who just sell sheds are not very helpful because it is not something they do so they are reluctant to send business elsewhere.
So forumites, please help. If you have had similar work done and can recommend anyone or have family or friends who do this type of work please let me know.
As the girls on here will understand, I desperately need to get the OH out in a shed ASAP. We have no storage area so after 10 years of sanders, drills and other tools cluttering up the spare room, I am over it. I need somewhere to send him when he is underfoot and I want to hit him with one of the claw hammers he has left lying around.
Please help me.
