I have an approx. 14yr old, 15HH Quarterhorse Gelding who I am thinking about offering as a give away as a companion or light pleasure horse for experienced rider.
Unfortunately he has Nevicular Degeneration so is unable to be in work, but is ok to ride as a pleasure horse (ie.weekends). He has not been ridden in quite some time due to me having a baby. He will try to put it over you and can be stubborn, but I usually find that after showing him who's boss he gives in
He is probably best on his own as he can be nasty to my mare but usually at feed time, he cant be kept with sheep as he chases them.
