PostSubject: Wintec Dressage Saddle + 6'3 rugs   Mon Jul 25, 2011 1:20 pm

As from this Friday I will no longer have my TB, I will no longer need his gear.

Wintec Dressage (I think 500, but not sure) Saddle
17 inch, currently has medium narrow gullet, however, I think the medium might still be in mum's car if she hasn't binned it. So your choice of gullet - it has the eas change system.
Comes with 85cm kincade girth, but no stirrups or leathers.
In great condition, has had a few owners but hardly used by any.
$340

I also have a selection of 6'3 rugs for sale.

Coffee coloured fly mesh combo. Used twice, in great condition. I can throw in a (coincidentally) matching fly veil if you want.
$60.

Royal Blue and black 1200D 300gr polyfil waterproof paddock rug. In good condition, no rips or tears and works well.
$60

Navy Rainsheet, in great condition, only used a couple of times. $50

Grey and blue polar fleece, only used a few times so in mostly good condition although does have one repair on shoulder.
$20

Green canvas, very hard wearing, has been used in some rough weather but it still in good condition. Kept my TB dry during some very bad storms last year. Has a few slight mud stains we can't get off as a result.
$25

Willing to haggle a little on some items, and would also consider swapping the saddle for a wintec jump saddle.

Prices do not include postage. Items located onb Piggot Range Road.

I can take and post some photos later, in fact, I think I have some already of the rugs when they were brand new. Post here or PM me with questions/offers/whatever. Smile

Can I come look at the green canvas? I drive past your place now that my boys are shifted and I always keep an eye out for you so I can stop and say hello but haven't seen you and you pink car yet.

Would you mind it I took it down to try on the boys? I'm only 2 minutes further from you now.

Yes, you are more than welcome to Muppet Smile I will be up there on Friday morning around 11, if that suits you. Otherwise I am happy to organise another time. And yes, you can try it on them, I don't mind.

And Jellybelly, in my opinion it is in pretty good condition, although I do now need to dig out a new screw from mum's car boot. My fault for not screwing the gullet in tight enough! It isn't affected by the lack of screw at the moment though.
To be honest, I am no saddle expert. There are some marks where the stirrup leathers go, but obviously can't be seen when stirrup leathers are there. Smile

Lulz, I will try and take some soon, but I am having a lot of trouble with my laptop so you may have to wait a day or two, depending on my luck. Razz

Umm, this Saturday I might be able to do mid to late afternoon, depending when I get out work. There isn't a set time, it just depends how fast I clean. Razz But I will hopefully be able to take photos before then. Smile

It is just a rug - they are cheaper and Flick seems to do fine without the extra neck warmth. It just makes him shaggy round the neck! Razz

Friday sounds fine. I think I still have your number so I will be there 11ish and call if I have any problems. I do have to drop a house guest off at the bus but I think that is early in the morning.

Cheers

Actually, I also have a purple and pink PVC bridle possible for sale. Comes with reins, but no bit. Paid $40, hardly used, so just make me an offer. I am quite happy to keep this one, even though I don't have much use for it at the moment.

What's the rainsheet like? Very warm or okay for when it's only a little cold but not warm enough for no rug?
