Asking on behalf of friend...

She is looking for a pony (around 12-13h) for her two young children. Temperament obviously very important. Initial riding would all be on the lead (and any off lead riding will be heavily supervised with an adult in close proximity!). Home is very experienced and the pony would be extremely spoilt and cuddled and brushed, etc.

It doesn't matter if the pony is ancient, ugly, legs on sideways or has mild/manageable soundness issues as long as it is safe around small children. Must be either lease or cheap - this is purely a tactical decision due to husband who has only just come around to the idea of having a pony at all after a lot of "lead up work"!
