3 Female Kelpies.

Black and Tan, good working dogs, lovely natures. Work really well together as a team.

Mum and two daughters..... Mum is about 9yrs old, the daughters are about 6 yrs old.

Advertising on behalf of a local farmer who had one of his workers who owns/ed them move into town and not be able to take the dogs with him.

Was asked if we could put them down, but said we would try to find them a home first.

Farmer does not want to put them down if it can be avoided and would like to find them a lovely home to live in.

Can either go all three to one home, or separate homes. Whatever will work for them.

Fairly obedient dogs and have got through the 'silly puppy' stage obviously!

Craig heads to Adelaide regularly to pick up stock and can bring one, two or three down depending on where they end up going. Also we head down towards Pt Lincoln/Whyalla too so can deliver to those areas as well as up towards Ceduna.

Hope they find a good home.

Maybe put them on aushorse and redeem the donation from there new home.. Only has to be $5 or so.. Im sure they would be happy with that.

I dont think they are in any REAL immediate danger of being put down if a home can be found for them - the farmer who is parting with them for the owner is a really lovely guy and wants to do the right thing by the dogs! Thats kind of the last resort if nothing can be sorted for them......

Oh and NO I am NOT taking in three Kelpies to find homes for them - last time I did that, it was a border collie and he was here for over 2 years before he died of old age!!!! lol.... He kind of just became part of the family!!!! lol.... loved that dog!

We have two little terrorists already and three kelpies added to the mix would NOT be a wise move!!!! Its bad enough when the terrors get inside and run amok! lol

Maybe put them on the sa dog rescue page on facebook,hopeully they will take them or find someone to foster them.
