PostSubject: PONY/SMALL HORSE wanted for confident begineer/intermediate rider   Thu Mar 31, 2011 3:38 pm

Am after a very quiet, no fizz PC/games and general all rounder for myself. Perfect pony would be around 13.3 to 15 hh colour is not and never will be an issue, age between 12-16 years. Looking for something to boost my confidence when riding and i will know that im safe. Horses with good ground manners are a must, horses with cuddly, hugs and kisses for me type personality are always welcome sunny Will be doing mounted games, PC, the odd show and just hacking out and beach rides and having fun with my new pony friend.

I have been riding for 6 years, but i classify myself as a beginner and are there for looking for a beginners pony. Interested in anything buying, leases, part leases, lease with option to buy, payment plans.... just wanting to find the perfect cuddly pony friend i have never found and finally enjoy him/her and progress in my riding and try and do lots of new fun things that you can not do without your own horse.

I have had some ownership expirience, I leased a standardbred for a 1 year and rode him whenever i had time to get up there and my parents had time to make the 80 min drive (there and back) to pick me up and drop me off. We mainly rode in the arena and i ocassionaly did take him out on the road, but he was to strong for me and dangerous out and away from the property, there for someone always had to be with me. Finally he was sold at the start of this year as his owner was worried about my safety because he could be unpredictable and if anything happened to me she would blame herself, i now understood her reason. I'm now riding her 20 year old QH who is a good little plodder but i've decided it would be best if i found my own horse so i could try out doing PC,games and enjoying my very owner special friend.

If you have any horse or pony that you are sadly parting with could you please PM me or contact me on the details i have listed below. Horse is promised to a forever loving home, who's owner only beleives that a horse can only ever be as good as his rider, and will love and care and devote all the time she has, to make sure that he is happy and healthy and will go on many fun adventures in the great outdoors. Will be agisted at trott park which is only a 4 min drive and a 30 min walk from my house.

cheers,
Andrea Smile

If that doesnt work out I have a 14hh mare - she is 19 years old but completely sound and plenty of life left in her. Has taught many to ride. It would be a free lease for duration that you wanted her. Due to her age I would want her back when she is ready for retirement.

hey salt-bush,
unfortunatly im looking for a younger horse Sad im already riding a 19 year old QH mare and she is a bit sluggish for me and cant keep up with my energy and all the stuff I want to do, so its not really fair on her that is why im looking for a younger horse.

Still no luck guys, the market is dead at the moment. If anyone has anything even if they are not perfect could you please message me, cheers Andrea.

How are you getting on with your search for a horse. I have only just seen your add so bit slow. lol!
I have a pony here that we are looking to sell. My son hasn't ridden for a while and isn't interested on PC anymore.
Coffee is a 13.3hh Coffin Bay pony. 13yrs old. He is of the older breeding and is very solid. He is not a real beginners pony but well educated and easy to handle. Not asking a fortune for him but good home is a defendant.
There is a photo for him on the Coffin Bay Pony Society website under extended family.
If you are interested or want more details PM me.

Hi everyone,
sorry i have not kept ontop of this ad, been busy with first week at school and my first gymkana was on the weekend Very Happy

Currently in a situation were we maybe already putting a deposit on a QH mare that we looked at on the weekend, she seemed lovely the owner is just now suming up whether she selling her to a 'show' family or us haha which we have never had a horse in our lives. But i should her back from her by friday.

pineview, I will take up your offer but isn't wirrula on the west coast of SA? VERY long way to travel. Never the less we could arrange something if it falls through

saltbush, i will email u my email address if the QH falls through just do not want to be wasting our time.
