Fiona specialises in coaching the adult amateur, working with goals for beginner adult riders through to lower level competitive riders (up to Elementary). Her clarity of instruction, adherence to the training scale (no matter what level she’s coaching) and understanding of individuals situations ensures that students achieve their goals, gain confidence and truly enjoy their riding. Her excellent eye and focus on correct position, aids and technique have made immeasurable difference to the rideability of her student’s horses, with the added bonus of higher scores when out competing.

Fiona firmly believes that riding should be safe and enjoyable and through correct, fair and consistent training methods, this is achievable for riders of all levels.

She is fully insured for public liability through AON and references are available on request.

VENUE: Gawler River Pony Club, Clifford Road, Evanston Gardens, SA.
PRICE: $60.00 for a 45 minute private lesson
$40 for an hour shared lesson (max 2)
Plus – $10 Grounds fee/per participant (if more participants more than cover my fee for grounds the rate will be lowered.)

Just a quick note to say that thanks to some flexible people I'll only be teaching on the Saturday at Gawler River. Saves a wee bit in hire fees! Fence sitters are more than welcome to come along and watch for a while! 9am start.

I haven't ridden my horse get since our backwards-head-over-heels (he's still sore) but I'm planning on coming along to watch on Saturday morning.

I have a lesson Saturday Morning I haven't been able to work my boy that much due to weather but hopefully he will be well behaved

Am back home in sunny (pfft!) Melbourne! It was lovely to meet you all, I had a great time and am looking forward to doing it again soon!

Tina was right, it was much warmer over there than here so please send me some of you warmer air for teaching tomorrow - or today - it's late!

Thanks so much for the fantastic lesson Fiona, Zyann and I had a ball yesterday and learnt heaps too I really got a lot out of it, especially regarding my posture and position - which has become very 'stocksaddle-ified' (feet forward).

I know the other people who had lessons (including some forumites from here) also had great lessons too, and got a lot out of it

I really enjoyed my lesson also I got some very good ground work tips, which gave me the confidence to get into the saddle I also found that I learnt quite a bit in the saddle, due to RC being so easy to understand, will definately be booking in again next time Was good to meet some forum members also

Ummm, maybe Tanya. I don't dare measure her - but latest estimates are 16.2hh and bum high....
I just like to keep beliving she is 15.2hh - which is how big she was SUPPOSED to grow to LOL!
