This bit retails for $243 at Bonnetts & has a roller on the lozenge to encourage acceptance of the bit & softness in the jaw. Aurigan silver (gold coloured). Excellent condition, hardly used, made a big difference in encouraging my horse to seek the contact but we have now found his perfect bit so no more use for this one. Used on 16.3hh TB with fine face & mouth.

Do you mean Spud? Yep used it on him, he only has a little mouth!

A lot of people use bits that are too big for their horse, me included in the past. If they're too big they move a lot more & it won't sit correctly in their mouth which can cause mouth wounds.

Nha, I did mean Monty, I thoguht that must be why you were selling it, cos you don't have him anymore. It just looks really little, but the rings on them aren't small either. I love mine. Mine's about 5 3/4 but Ellie has a conka head and nose.

The rings are huge! I prefer small bradoon rings. Tried it on Spud & he was a lot better in it than a single joint snaffle but we've discovered his favourite bit is a mullen Happy Mouth! Louie wears 5 3/4 as well on his big boofy head. He always looks like he has a Clydie head when I go to get him after riding Spud!
