Sassy is a darling filly who stands approximately 13 - 13.2hh at the moment (need to put a measuring stick on her), and we dont expect her to go over 14hh at this stage. The photos above were taken at the Royal Melbourne Horse Show 2011, and then the two of her in the lunge ring were taken a week or so afterwards.
She is extremely 'pretty' and will do very well in the show ring, and as a performance pony.
She competed successfully at the Royal Melbourne Horse Show in January 2011, and as this was her FIRST outing, we were absolutely thrilled with her - she behaved impeccably, did exactly as she was asked and was a dream for Debbie to handle - who had only met her that day as well!
She placed 3rd and 4th in her two classes at the RMHS - and was up against adult horses and her half sister, CM Independant Miss (shown by Lyndsworth Lodge (Lyndsworth and Norman from our forum) who won both her CB classes (same ones Sassy was in) and was awarded Reserve Champion CBSH at the RMHS.)
Our original plan was to bring this lovely filly home from Victoria where she has been for the last 18 months, and let her grow up, break her to harness and saddle and she would eventually be my harness pony/lesson pony.
Having got her home and completely assessed her - while we would still like to do that with her - she is quite fine, and would really suit the show ring or performance pony world with a young rider or a small adult! Ideally I would like to be able to personally hop on the lesson pony that I have, and she would not be up to my weight. (I really need another "Beau" for that!!)
She is very quick to learn, has been backed - had two sessions under saddle in the round yard to get her used to someone being 'above' her, and is being lightly lunged a couple of times a week to develop her topline, which is just in 'paddock' condition at this stage.
She is VERY nicely put together, and not a lot bothers her at all.
She can be a little funny to catch in a paddock, but a bucket of feed soon sucks her in!

(Like all CBs, she thinks with her stomach!!!)....
She is currently CBHSA registered, and can be Part Arabian, I believe she should be able to be RP and Part Welsh registered from previous conversations I have had with both of those organisations.
She has always been a bit special since she was born - and we would like the best of homes for her.
Expressions of interest in purchasing her can be directed to:

We are asking what we consider to be a reasonable amount for her. We are asking $6500 - she is a top quality youngster and is well worth it!
As she becomes more educated, her price will go up accordingly.
