PostSubject: Horse for tall husband!   Mon Jan 24, 2011 4:10 pm

Everything I've got is too small for my husband, and he hasn't given up on the idea of having his own horse!
So here's what we're looking for:
Would look at over 15.2hh, prefer over 16hh. He is a novice rider, hasn't been able to progress much due to all my horses being 14.3hh or under! Doesn't matter if it's not hugely educated as I can do that before it becomes "his". Does need to have a nice nature though, and trainable. Mare or gelding ok, OTTBs ok. Any age ok, even older horses still up for light work. Hubby is tall but not at all heavy.
Would be used as a walk-trot trail horse, but get all the love and care that our riding schoolies do. Regular dentist, farrier, chiro, better clothing than we wear (!), and a nice 40 acre field with lots of friends to run around with, etc etc.
Up to $1500 or payment plan for anything more expensive. We offer a genuine forever home.

Definitely prefer to buy. I'm too chicken for leases, I'm sure the dear horse that I ever leased would slice its leg open or something and I'd be the one having to ring the owner.....scary!!! Those kind of things always happen to me Smile
