Mix is a 5yo, bright bay TB gelding. Approx 15.3hh.
Gorgeous fine coat (not fluffy in winter), nice conformation. Finished racing a bit over a year ago. Lovely nature but very green. Will work nicely in a frame at the walk, fairly consistent at the trot, and canter still needs work
Could be a great jumper, has free jumped in the paddock mounds of earth 1.2m high and 1.5m wide! Very athletic boy.
Doesn't need much feeding, currently in great condition on grass.
Mix is for sale as he was sold to his current owner as a beginners horse, which he is not. She has now found something more appropriate for her, so Mix is looking for a new home. He's not the next world champion, but he's a nice straightforward ride for an experienced rider, with his whole life ahead of him. Extremely trainable and willing to please.
Owner is not in a hurry to sell, home is more important than price. Looking for offers around $1200.

Sorry, I just checked his brand today, it's a four. So he's just gone six, not five years old. My apologies! I'm advertising him for a friend, but he lives at my place. I too thought the same thing. I also figure if they are interested they will actually call me not text and certainly not expect me to text or call them first. If you cant afford even a phone call how will you be able to afford to look after the horse? Again if ligit sorry Arthur.

I don't know (and sorry Arthur if you're reading this) but maybe he's not terribly "forum-savvy" and doesn't know about PM, or hasn't seen the Aushorse ad which has our phone number and website on it. I don't think he's really into computers!
He is a real person (and nice, and seems to know what he's talking about, and we have mutual friends who've vouched for him) and is coming to see Mix this week. Man I hope they get along, selling a cheap horse means you get some really cheap people! When we've made it clear we care where he goes, why email me with only one line - "what's the lowest you'll take for him"? Doesn't bode well for his future! Or tell me you want to jump and event him, but you can't afford to get your car fixed to come look at him? I know once they're sold you have no control, but GEEZ!
We now have another correction. One of these days I will learn to check EVERYTHING before I put it up.....Mix is not 15.3, he's a bit shorter. His owner said 15.3, I thought to myself "that doesn't sound right", and then promptly forgot about it. I'm being more idiotic than usual this week! I'd say he's maybe 15.1 and a half...ish?
