17 inch brand new, medium gullet Western/Stock (with horn) has barcoo thick felt padding for the horse, all leather including the stirrups is engraved. Bought for our Appy but he is too wide for it, suits a horse with a wither and medium width shoulder, so must be sold sadly

the wrigging looks incorrect on the is saddle?
the girth wrigging and the stirrup leathers should be under the leg flap?
you might want to fix this and then take more photos

I may what you are saying confused, will go and have another look at the saddle later, but
I don't know how the stirrup leathers can go under the leg flap, nor the girth rigging Possum, if you look again, the girth rigging ring is attached after the leg flap (I think you mean the long sweat flap???) and the leg/sweat flap is sewn directly underneath just in front of the felt padding, I don't suppose you'd want to show me with pictures, lol, I am a blonde, lol

The saddle is the same sort of design as this James saddle, except a 1/4 of the price IMO

sorry mate ~ i see what you mean about the stirrup strap , the thin strap should be behind the decorated leg strap tho? ~ but i reckon the girth rigging strap should be under?

no worries, it is all a learning curve so don't remove the post

The girth rigging, like many Westerns appears in front the sweat flap, only this one has a extended sweat like a stock saddle would normally.

The leg flap that the stirrup is attached too is all one piece, like the James, just appears like it is a seperate leather strap, an optical illusion being black I guess, see learnt something new, LOL

There are three pieces of leather that go to making up the leg flap area, the leg flap itself, the a shorter sweat flap and the longer sweat flap, I guess if someone wanted more contacted, a saddler could remove the longest sweat flap

price reduced, need to sell to buy a saddle that fits the horse
