PostSubject: Baby Geese ***** HATCHED*******   Fri Aug 20, 2010 6:35 pm

My mother goose has been sitting on about 12 eggs ( cant get to close to see ) they are due to hatch at the end of this month (hopefully)
This is her first batch so not 100% sure they will all hatch BUT if they do, is anyone interested in any??? as pets ( i will take them away from her when hatched so they are friendly)

mums is on the right and dad is in the middle

for free Smile to non eating homes only Smile

They are now 3 days old, 4 need new loving homes.
There are 2 that need a home but they are still with their mum (wont be hand raised)

Non-eating??? Where is the fun in that? Smile

Actually I have a theory that the only reason people don't eat their geese more often is because they are too damn scary to get close enough to, to knock off!

If you ask Shell very nicely she might lend DC her travelling goose cage so that DC can bring some to Adelaide on the back of the ute.
