Langes at out from Ceduna have second hand chooks. They have done one year of laying and are about $3@. Ben Waston is their son inlaw and I think he lives out at the farm now. If you go over to town their is a place in Gawler that sells pol hens for $11@. I got 10 last time of was there. They are good healthy hens that are quiet and don't go broody.

you can buy point of lay chickens at most fodder shops...e.g. hackham fodder, top range feeds...also next door to compass feeds (near mount compass) is a chicken laying farm and they sell their second year chickens for $5.00

Don't know Bens number but sure it would be in the phone book. Under either Ben Watson or Lange eggs or such like.
The pol hen in gawler. I haven't got their number but they are on hillier rd. If you ring sanders fodders store in Gawler the have the details there. It was them who put me onto him. The chook guy's name is Wayne.(I think)
