‘FLASH’

• 15.2 hh, Chestnut, Gelding, 10 y.o, Unraced TB
• Flash is excellent to catch, rug, lead, shoe, float, wash and handle in every way. Basically a big sook!
• Flash has attended Pony Club, 2010 Zone School and has competed at one show. He has also been extensively used for trail riding including Pony club camp. You can pull him out the paddock and he is always the same. He is on the lazy side which gives the rider confidence and a feeling of control!
• Flash has been ridden by beginners (including my husband) and by children and nervous nellies.
• He is only available for lease to a very good home. He has scarring on his hind hoofs which means that his hind feet need to be managed through shoeing. So if you can’t afford to keep him in hind shoes then he is not for you.
• He will be leased with his halter, bridle, bit and and summer and winter rugs (and saddle – by negotiation if needed).
• Flash is only for lease because I have a young horse coming on and a baby so I do not have time for 2 horses. I may consider an on property lease, but only for the ‘right’ person.

I may be willing to sell Flash, but only to a very good home.

I am very very interested. SOunds perfect to get me back into the saddle after a seven month break. Looking for a nice quiet ride until I get my babies up and running. However would not be able to start riding for another four weeks due to c section. I would want to lease him for 12 months and then if we are both happy discuss purchase, would also want to sign a lease agreement for both our sakes. PM me if I sound like a nice place for your boy.

I haven't yet sent Flash out on lease, there is a few people interested but ultimately I will make my decision based on -

-a good home for Flash
-where he is suited to the riders abilities
-where he is suited to the use that he is intended for
-where I have references, 3rd party confirmation of the home that he is going to or knowledge of the home he is going to

As Shell mentioned, a friend of hers is interested and I have had a couple of other people also enquire.

SBL I will give you a call today to tell you more about Flash.

Ultimately I will make a decision within the next 7 to 10 days so that people aren't left waiting on an answer.

This is an extremely hard decision for me but I have 2 beautiful horses and a baby boy so time and money are in short supply. I truely believe that someone else deserves the opportunity to have Flash share in their riding journey. He has saved me from a huge loss of confidence and if I had a few more acres, then he would never be leaving.

I have leased him out once before and was not happy with the outcome so if I can't find the right home then I will simply keem him (when he went out on loan total beginner children were allowed to ride him off the lead (against my wishes) and out in the open and he came home a lot lighter in condition than he left)

FOR ANYONE WHO EXPRESSED INTEREST IN FLASH

Thank you so much for showing interest in leasing my boy.

After some soul searching over the weekend I have come to a decision to let him out on a months trial to a rider who I know who is keeping him on a property that i know and having lessons to make sure he suits.

In the event that this person does not decide to keep him after the trial, I will contact everyone who has expressed interest and let them know.
