PostSubject: Tortie Kitten no longer avaliable   Wed Jun 16, 2010 4:38 pm

Estimated 6 week old black tortie male(?) has been handed in to our local council and the kitten has to be "disposed of" within 72 hours if no owner comes forward. Kitten is very friendly but looks to be a little too young to have been a pet and we are assuming mother cat has been scared away and left kitten behind.

We are 98% sure he is male but because of his black coat and hair, it is making it hard to tell.

Kitty has to be rehomed within 72 hours and as he is friendly, we are making an effort to rehome him.

I am travelling down to Adelaide on Friday and can take him down there with me, but you will have to meet me somewhere as I am not able to make any detours. I will be at Colonel Light Gardens for a few hours Friday from 9-after lunchtime.

Being young, he will need a little bit of TLC as he is skinny and has to be weaned properly.

Trying to upload a pic of the poor scared little boy.

If he's a tortie male he's a 1 in a 1000! 99.9% of torties are female. Nyaww hope he./she/it finds a good home though!

That's what we thought, but it looks like a male! Ok, female, male whatever! Very Happy She needs to go.

Hard to get a pic of, but it will have to do.

I'm honestly tempted.... But the thing with kittens is that they grow up to be cats Sad

I do hate doing these kinds of bleeding heart posts, there are so many animals in need and its unrealistic to think we can save them all. Sad But for the animals we try to rehome, there a ten times as many who go over Rainbow Bridge.

But we will feel better knowing we tried to give her a second chance.

DC if you do want her, when are you coming back through? I'll be in Crystal Brook Saturday and Sunday (just off the highway) so if you are coming back through I can bring her with me to CB.

Text me anyway, I am going to Adelaide now so won't be home. Bloody woman can't make up their minds. Razz If you are coming through this afternoon, Heather will be home (the kitten is at her place) Just contact me and we can sort something out.

Shell has my number. Very Happy
