16.3hh TB Bay Gelding

Through no fault of his own, this wonderful boy is sadly offered for sale.

He is a very special boy, wonderful manners and really respects people.
Can be left for a couple of months and just saddled and ridden with no trouble, he is a big softy who wants to be loved. For sale as his rider has lost interest – he has had minimal work for the last 18mths

WHAT HAS HE DONE

With prevous owner he did EFA D Grade show jumping for about 1 season
We purchased him as a 9yr old and since then he has attended Pony Club taking part in all the regular PC activities, he has competed in a few dressage competitions,
Pony Club Show Jumping days (up to 1-00m),
& many grade 4 & 3 ODE’s.
Represented GRPC at zone finals in team on the flat and show jumping.

Would suit confident teenager or an adult rider.
His price reflects the fact that he is currently in paddock condition and needs to build muscle before he gets any serious work.

A few more pictures, not the greatest but the best I could do for now, the standing one was taken tonight, I know it is not the best photo but gives an idea of his present condition - members of our PC who know this boy cannot believe he is still here.

This boy is still up for grabs, I have only had 2 people come and see him one been a 13yrs old who couldn't even rise trot - so I would not sell to them, and the other girl who would have loved to have him but due to not been able to sell her current horse cannot buy Arthur.

He has been checked by the chiro this week and he had a good check up with no problems other than a bit of muscle weakness from lack of work.

If he was in full work I would be asking much more than I am.

Arthur had his teeth done this week, so he is up to date with everything.

Really is fustrating that no one is even coming out to see him.

Is it just him or are horses not selling?

I dont think a lot of horses are selling at the moment. He is a lovely looking fellow, looks like he would be a lot of fun (not that i can purchase another equine buddy until my standy sells) read his add a few times on aushorse Smile

Thanks ST glad to know it is not him, hopefully when the warmer weather gets here a few more people may get motivated.

He is a real gentle horse, and I am sure there will be a few tears when he leaves, but the girl just adores him and will spoil him rotten, and she wants to take things slowly which will suit his fitness level.
