DC is Brenna a purebred wolf hound??
My staffy x Jaspa looked like he had wolfhound in him, what are some of their characteristics?
I swear he looked like a staffy when he was a pup......

He was a wonderful dog he unfrotunately got lymphoma at the age of 5 so we gave him very radical and expensive chemo which gave him about 3 more years then it came back and he was PTS, really really great dog miss him and Lucy heaps. Crying or Very sad

Staffies are quirky but I also agree it is how they are brought up not the breed. I do think it is natural for most dogs to want to chase things that run.

My first staffy, Alice, came with me to the horses all the time and even rode in front of the saddle. But we do think once she did eat a kitten (not positive though as did not see it but one was missing from the box where they slept). She was great with the horses and kids.

The staffy I have now is not so great with the horses. She is well behaved around them but if they get too close she snaps at their noses. But she will happily follow when I take them out on rides with me.

Both the staffy and the lab will nick off if they see a rabbit and the lab did catch a hare once. It was almost as big as her (she's not a big labrador).

The lab also likes to follow the horse when it is on the lunge, trotting behind and sometimes darts in front then scampers like she is playing chicken.

All about the dog not the breed.

Our Staff was unreal as was our Staffy cross.

Boxer was a PITA until he grew up at about 11

Greyhound was fabulous. You could trust her with everything. She's in my profile pic and I miss her terribly.

Now have 3 kelpies, all good with horses, cows, other dogs, Alpacas but the scale can be tipped with chooks Sad

Brenna the wolfhound is good with everything as well.

Looked after a friends Staffie kelpie cross and I had to have it euthanaised after it attacked my alpaca (Spyder who was also later Euthanaised)

Looked after another Greyhound and it ripped a wing off one of my ducks and tried to eat my kittens ( was fine with the grown up cats)

It is all about the individual dog Smile

is that the one Jo has now? Shes lovely!!
