| We have decided its time to look for another puppy/dog. After losing Lucy (pure bred staff) we are going to look for someone who will fit into our family. Its a bit hard because I had Lucy for 14 years and no one will ever replace her. So if anyone hears of any puppies needing a loving home PM me. Looking for medium sized xbred no kelpie or working dog prefer short hair as will be inside and outside doggie. Something like staffy x ridgy or the likes Cheers |

| I keep threatening my staffy that I will find her a new home. She farts then gets up and leaves the room, you cannot wiggle or rub your feet together otherwise she straddles your feet for a front bum rub, makes loud licky noises when she licks her own feet, sounds like a pig when she snuffles around the floor and snores very loudly. She is slowly driving me insane and I don't have far to go. Would you like to discuss adoption????? Oh, and she is neurotic and does drive bys past the clothes horse and yoicks the socks off and runs around the house with my lab chasing her. She loves my partners stinky feet and will lick them given half the chance. I think she has a foot fetish. I know, she sounds just perfect, doesn't she?? And I thought no one would ever replace my first staffy, Alice, but this one is just as strange. Good luck on your search. |

Lucy was a mad toe licker and used to do it to my father in laws feet all the time it turned my stomach! Tasha have PM'd you Caleah Pk I had thought about that but we have lots of rabbits here and I think maybe it/ they would go bunta, dont they have laws that they have to muzzled all the time in public?
I dont know hopefully the right one will find me |

We had a staffy x whippet that used to do it, and lick the carpet. Sadly, she confined her activities to individual spots, which served to highlight how dirty most of the carpet was

Greyhounds that have been adopted through GAP no longer have to be muzzled in public, but they do have to be on a lead in public places. and like some OTTBs of my acquaintance, can switch into race mode and take off: usually in a circle, and not for very long before they run out of fuel. Maggie did take off down the paddock once after a rabbit. Fortunately the fences are not at all well strung, but she did end up with haematomas on head and spine, and I suspect a concussion. After that she would spy the rabbits, but no go after them. They are fantastic dogs.
I dont know hopefully the right one will find me |

| My partner's sister and brother in law have got 10 cocker spaniel puppies almost ready to go if you're at all interested in the spaniels. They're gorgeous dogs, parents are lovely but lots of energy. I think they want $500-600 for them. Will upload some photo's into pets for sale soon. |

| Thats it I went to Rspca today and saw a staffy x that i fell in love with but they weren't keen on me taking it cos they thought it would chase horses and they kept steering me towards the kelpie x's which i have zero interest in as i think they very active and would get bored living with me. In the end we left with nothing but i can't stop thinking about the staffy. What is everyones opinion of staffys???? Can i push the point that thats the one i want?????? |

| Well when my Lucy first saw a horse she was very disinterested except for the carrots they ate. I also had a staffy x and he didnt care much about the horses either. Kelpies chase more than staffies, go the staff and if you cant stop thinking about it, it might be the one. I was like that with my Freddy cat. I saw a little staffy at the RSPCA a little while ago black and white, i wasnt quite ready yet but I still think about her..... Maybe?????? |

| I had a pure-bred staffy, Pom, who was fantastic around horses BUT he grew up around horses and dogs and cats, plus, of course, you can't generalise, particularly about cross breeds.
I would be more concerned about kelpies chasing horses (DC's do), and it's really all about the individual personality, the age at which they come to you, and how much training you put in.
I'd say that if it feels right, do it.
Having said that, my brother pushed to the point of deceit (he got a friend to purchase a second dog that the shelter wouldn't let him have) and it all went very and horribly pear-shaped. |

| And on the other hand and ex boy friend had a purebred male staffy anf the moment he saw a horse he latched on to its muzzle and wouldn't let go! He had led a very sheltered life and had not socialised much, |

| All about the dog not the breed. Our Staff was unreal as was our Staffy cross. Boxer was a PITA until he grew up at about 11 Greyhound was fabulous. You could trust her with everything. She's in my profile pic and I miss her terribly. Now have 3 kelpies, all good with horses, cows, other dogs, Alpacas but the scale can be tipped with chooks Brenna the wolfhound is good with everything as well. Looked after a friends Staffie kelpie cross and I had to have it euthanaised after it attacked my alpaca (Spyder who was also later Euthanaised) Looked after another Greyhound and it ripped a wing off one of my ducks and tried to eat my kittens ( was fine with the grown up cats) It is all about the individual dog |

Er, uh, ahem, there were a few other factors at play in the boxer's change of attitude: like who he ended up living (and dying) with, and what he was fed. |
