Handsome 8yr old Arab QH x Australian Riding Pony. He is very friendly, eager to please & has plenty of youthful exuberance.
He has been used mainly for pleasure riding and sheep work around the farm, he has done only light showing and PC so has a
great foundation which shows when he is ridden, he is light in the mouth and responds well to the seat. He would suit a range of
disciplines as he is a very versatile little horse, he has currently got a nervous novice riding him and she is having a great time,
he also gets ridden by a 14yr old competant girl who has lots of fun with him. He is good to float, rug etc and is an exceptionally good doer.
Enquiries are welcome now although he is not available until after the 20th March as we are using him for a cancer council fundraising ride.

Hi everyone!
I am the nervous novice who is currently riding prince. I am happy for anyone to ask me any questions about him. I have been leasing him since start of year as my mare is currently in foal and I still wanted to ride. I knew he was sitting in the paddock as Julie has a young one she is concentrating on. I was happy to lease him until he sells.

I lease a big yard at the racecourse in Ceduna. Every morning and night Prince will be running to my car before you even have a chance to pull up - he craves attention. Who every the lucky person is to buy this horse will be guaranteed plenty of laughs. He has a great personality and everyone who has met him at the yards seems to have their own little story to tell about him.

As mentioned before i am a nervous rider. It does take me a while to gain my confidence with a horse. And after a few falls riding my mare out on my own my confidence had been knocked quite a bit. Prince has been fantastic for getting that confidence back. I can now go out on my own behind the racecourse through the paddocks walk trot and canter. The only problems i have is he can call out to the other horses a lot. He has never turned back or taken off but he will keep calling and get on his toes. I have never felt worried he might try and get away from me.

I have taken him to the beach many times with another girl i ride with. He loves the water and will always make sure he splashes enough to get you soaking and whoever dares stand close enough.

I have also taken him to pony club a while ago - second time i have ridden him and his first outting (i think). Was a legend at the games!

Well this is enough for now. Like i said if anyone has any questions i am happy to give an honest answer. I have many stories to tell

yeah plenty but no-one willing to drive over here to see him, not worried the right person will come along one day. would love to see him go to a junior as he would give them so much fun and he is a mothers dream in at least you know your child is safe. Had a really nice lady come yesterday that did make the drive and felt sorry for her, lovely rider but just has no confidence at all and we both aggreed that prince would probably rule her as he is just too smart and cheeky, so i suggested that she find herself a lovley old fellow to start on again.

He's still here and wasting in paddock, anyone know of the perfect home for him?

I can't believe you haven't sold this horse yet! He looks & sounds devine. I'd definitely check him out if i was in need of another horse, but i already have 2 & am not in a position to have another. Very appealing boy. Hope you find a great home for him.

thanks guys, we are 80km adelaide side of ceduna, but all the interstate trucks go right past here so transport is not a problem, just got to find someone that wants him first. I am sure if i was closer to adelaide he would have sold straight away, as the interest is there just we are too far away.

not far from the june ride for anyone to come and look ...hint...hint!

yeah although the way things are looking we will prob be seeding and i won't be able to go, i am hoping that i can take him down to port augusta in july if he hasn't sold and enter him in the dressage at the PC horse trials.

that would be good for him to get out!!

I need a nice quiet smaller horse for me to get back in the saddle after bubs and for my son to ride after I have got my balance back. PM me just before you come up if you do. Not showing serious interest atm as heavily preg and not in possition just yet for another horsey

she just calls him prince that was the name he came with, i think there is a lady going to look at him after seeding so fingers crossed!
