Difficult sale of 10yo 16.2h standardbred gelding.
This boy sustained a kick to his near hind hock about 6 months ago (just as we were about to advertise him for sale - perhaps he sensed something??) and x-rays have shown bone chips. He has been vet checked as stable for now, and suitable for light trail riding. Still flies around the paddock with our other equine mates without pulling up lame. Of course neither the vet nor we know at what rate he will deteriorate.
This boy is excellent to float, shoe, wash, have teeth done and is good to worm. He requires a competent sensitive rider as he can be nervous at times, but we have never seen evidence of any dirt.
A very loving lad who will follow you around all day. He will be allowed to go to only the very best of homes.

Thanks! We're hoping to find him a good home too, as he loves to work, but my girls have more horses than they can give attention to at the moment (which is why we were planning on selling him in the first place).

We realise though that it won't be easy to find someone willing to take him on, and if that's the case, he'll just stay with the rest of our brood :-)
