| Thanks Laine  I used to green for the background to draw the eyes off the page. Hopefully it's worked  It's eyes were so painful to draw though, the cat itself has these amazingly brilliant green eyes that had so much detail in them that they looked almost like opals. Bit tricky to get that much detail in soft pastels, so I've ordered a new set of pastel pencils and some hard pastels for the finer work. Hopefully my drawings will improve with an improvement in materials! |
