| I bought Idaho as a 3yo for my first horse - and even though were were both green, and I am probably a bit too tall, he is the reason I have a passion for the Morgan horse, and am out competing today. So I am looking for a very special home for him. For those unfamiliar with the Morgan horse, they are probably the most versatile & tractable horses around. They are low maintenace (hardy, don't need shoeing, good doers)attractive, friendly & trustworthy, bold jumpers and enough spark to make them stand out in the show & dressage arenas. Idaho has done L4 HRCAV dressage, showing , CT & SJ, countless shows (and countless ribbons)at least 3 Morgan Nationals, stockwork and recently, a term at the local RDA while they were short of horses. He has had 2 years off due to fracturing his off-hind pedal bone in 2007, and has been brought back slowly into work since he got the all clear after x-rays in April this year. He is priced in consideration of the injury, thought if he is ridden thoughtfully and isn't jumped, there is not reason this should be a problem. He does not require any special care, just a rider who is considerate. Ideally I would like him to go to a mature rider who is looking for a performance horse who doesn't need working everyday, wants someone to fuss over, and a friend they can trust. Horse like this don't come along often, so if you can provide an excellent home, and he ticks all your boxes, please contact me. 0409 387 952 |
