PostSubject: looking for a new project   Fri Nov 20, 2009 3:02 pm

After moving to Adelaide, I am on the hunt for a OTTB or a cheap horse to take on and compete dressage and eventing.
Needs to be no heigher then 16hh and around the 5 mark, mare or gelding I dont mind, colour im not fussed.
My budget is no more then $600.
If anyone has any horses that they know of that fit the bill I would appreciate it.
I have owned and been working with horses most of my life, so I will take on a ratbag if they fit the above criteria.

ha ha, I am really glad that you love him so much, he really is a bit of a special boy.
You will have to post some photos. Have you been out on him yet?

Nope, he's only had a few rides so far, we had a few issues with getting his feet right, he seems a bit shallow soled, he's got front shoes on now and is as good as gold. Rick is a bit time poor too atm as he's breaking in a friends colt for him at his place so Jake really only gets worked on the weekends.
...but he's definately a keeper.
