Ok feel free to tell me if I'm deluding myself but i'm looking for a small horse / large pony (somewhere around 13.2-15.2h) as a companion for my mare but also to do the occational slow trial ride. Riders will be adult both beginners and experienced riders but will only be females to around 60kg & will be under experienced supervision. Horse will be very well looked after by experienced home. Stabled at night (once stables finished), rugged and fed morning & night and in paddock during the day. Not fussed about breed but can only spend up to about $1000 (but happy to lease short or long term) as I am currently building stables and arena so most of my saving are going towards that. I'm not in a hurry to find something as currently have the mini pony but thought I'd put it out there as everytime something suitable comes up they go before I get a chance to look at them.

That's cool, it's near Meadows. I work full time and my weekends are really busy so just don't have time to travel that far.
