Sunquest, do you know whether the x country course that used to be Para Plains PC is available for hire? I figure since you agist there, you may know ...

I LOVE that course, and would love to be able to train there

Hi Gizmo, to course is still there but it hasn't been looked after very well some of the jumps may be a bit un safe.

If you really like the course and wish to use it, you can become a miscellaneous member which by memory is about $60 a year but this allows you to come onto the property with your horse and use the facilities. Which i'm sure would include the cross country course.

Maybe give them a ring and ask, they can only say no Smile

I have notice the deterioration of the riding facilities there. Why has that happened? If they are struggling for $ then why not ask a few clubs to become involved and help out and make it their home ground ? I know that the SA Arab judges committee are looking for grounds to hold a show..

no bubby1 one, facilities only include 2 round yards, jumps arena, not quite full size dressage arena and run down cross country course.

We use to have a small indoor, but has been since changed into a storage shed as it was too small for big horses.
