My old man has decided he wants to get his own horse Basically we're looking at something a bit older, that isn't going to take off on him, no buck, and that is just about bombproof if there is such a horse out there!!! He just wants to do pleasure riding, so plodding around kuipto, along the beach and around our place at Milang, something that drags it's feet and will 'stop' and 'go'. Lease or pay up to $3000 for the right horse. Experienced, loving home assured in large, grassy paddocks with retired welsh pony (never seen her kick) and hannoverian brood mare in Chandlers Hill/Clarendon SA.
My old man is quite a light bloke as he's mega fit and not very tall. So something 15h to 16.1h ish would be good. Prefer QH, stockhorse or anything in between, will look at tb's but only if they are VERY quiet!!!!! Will also look at standies but they must NOT pace at all and have to be able to canter.

Awwwwww Tosca I wonder if he would ride her? Hmmmmm might ask him. Cos you're riding MT now aren't you?? Will give her something to do... but will she go skits on a trail if a roo jumps out or something?

She wouldnt go skits....but she would certainly have a look and might even do a little sideways skip, which if you dont have good balance might throw you on the ground. So maybe not quite suitable for him yet. At least she wont wreck your float though

Someone else has expressed interest after riding her last Sat at Lyn's, so am seriously wondering whether it's time to move her on. Have outgrown her I think and yeah riding MT and having baby, so no time for two horses really. Be nice if she stayed close (although Echunga is still close). She's still too good to be put out to pasture just yet.

Forgot to add....what do you think about him riding????!!!!!! He's a quick learner!! haha

Ah ok, yeah he'd probably get off, run away and cry if she spooked on him cos she's 'big' Hahahaha my poor float!!! Bloody Dustin, dad's like 'I am NEVER floating that horse again!!!' haha wonder why??
That'd be great if you could move her onto someone that could still use her, she's definately too good a horse to just sit in the paddock and mow the grass! And if it's a student of Lyn's you'd be able to see her and hear how she's going a bit as well.
