Can someone suggest anyone that does rug repairs and alterations in the Gawler / Angle Vale area. Our previous repairer moved... Crying or Very sad

Ill do them but am bit far away...
Have a look on aushorse under "horse sevices" , "SA", "rug repairs"
Theres heaps out your way yasbiq..

Bonnetts at Gawler do them Smile
There's also a place out at Roseworthy on the main road - but thats probably a bit far for you.

My parents fix rugs, mum does the cottons and woollens, and dad does the heavy rugs/canvas

Yeah, but Bonnetts are not impressed when you turn up with a cheap Chinese combo bought off Ebay, and just need the chest straps moved up, cos the neck is too big and the straps too low... Im sure all the horses in China must have huge low set necks coming out of the lowest point of the shoulder..... Shocked

lol interesting sounding Chinese horses....perhaps they are the panda crosses? lol
Surely they wouldn't care so much - they still charge you for it! plus the rugs would be very clean (unlike some I've seen dropped off...eeewww!)

LOL sounds good jessington, shes looking for work atm, all our rugs are fixed and shes bored!! she can replace fittings and all that... well ok dad does that on the bigger machine... but both of them do a fantastic job!

Hi all sunny
I do rug and gear repairs
at Penfield Gardens
15 minutes from Gawler
I am happy to repair, move , nip and tuk ,what ever you want done to your rugs
the only thing I ask is that they are free from mud and not to dirty
easy to clean just chuck over a fence and hose off
I am cheaper than the saddlers as I do repairs from home
