Standardbred mare for sale
Sat Feb 04, 2012 4:04 pm by Emmkat1
For sale - Abbey (Seven Wonders) - Black Standardbred mare, 14.3 hands, 8 years old.

Sweetheart to handle, good to catch (usually!), rug, shoe and float. I have had Abbey for about 5 years, bought from Aylesbury Lodge. Abbey has been used for general riding and Pony Club, including two Zone schools, numerous flatwork clinics, a couple jumping and one cross country clinic. She is currently graded E grade. Was out on lease for 18 months to a friend, who took Abbey to Wudinna show last year, said she was a dream to plait up, etc. and came home with several ribbons.

Abbey is often mistaken for anything but a Standardbred - everyone tells me she's too pretty to be a STB, often don't believe she is until they see the brand! Also have been told often she should be in the STB ring at shows. She's a bit of a princess, loves being pampered, and she loves the beach. Only vices - does not like sheep - chases them - and is a water baby, so will paw water from the trough! Abbey is not a beginner's horse. Up to date with teeth, feet, worming. Selling as I have shoulder problems, and she is going to waste in the paddock.

$2 000, with rugs and saddle. Contact no. 0439 817 744.
