We are looking for some steel spoked rubber capped wheels for our cart. Diameter needs to be about 40". If you have some you are looking to sell, or know where we could get some please let us know. Below is a picture of the cart we need them for, to make it big enough for calvin.

you will need to block the axle if you do put more wheels on cos its too low ~ no matter what wheels you put on ~ then that may look silly?

or try harley wheels ~ go to motor bike shop ~ new tyres are about $100 each (i just bought some) the wheels you may be able to get second hand???
dealer in second hand wheels in hackham ~ then you may have to get a new axle made???

big task ~ told you i would sell and start again ~ unless you had it made and it is sentimental to you?

by the time you do this could be a few hundred dollars????

There is a guy that advertises in HD that makes wheels etc from steel. I think he is in NSW. If you have the HD from last month I think the ad was in there..

Have you thought of Model T Ford rims or similar. We have a lorry that has overlander rims with motor bike tyres on, works well, looks good and is acceptable in the ring.

hi gizmo George Gorham in NSW can make up whatever size wheel you require, made of tube steel rubber tyre in steel channel, look very authentic and durable they run on HT holden bearings and can also have hydralic disk brakes fitted. I have a pair I am fitting to a spindle back jinker that I am restoring. Ufortunatley my last mobile crashed taking his number with it, but I think I can track it down through another coachbuilder.
